Who we are
App Tube is a small software studio in Serbia. The company is App Tube d.o.o. It is led by Darko Bačić, who writes most of the code and all of the words on this site.
We build small apps for people who ship software. devBoard is one of them.
Why devBoard exists
Most project trackers are built for big companies. They have portfolios, workload charts, automations and six view types. A team of four does not need any of that. It needs to know what to do today, what is blocking the release, and where the last three hours went.
We ran small teams on big trackers for years. The tool kept asking for more setup. So we built the smaller one we wanted. It has boards, epics, releases, tags, comments, a timer and an inbox. Then it stops.
What we will not build
- A web version. devBoard is an app on your phone and your Mac. Here is why.
- Docs, chat or a wiki. Other tools do those well.
- An automation builder or custom fields. Item types and tags cover what a small team needs.
- Gantt charts, portfolios or workload views.
If you need those, a bigger tool is the right choice. Our comparisons say which one.
How we will make money
devBoard is free while in early access. Paid plans will be one plain number, posted on this site first. There will be no grid of seat tiers.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored on servers in Germany, in the European Union. Email goes out through Mailtrap. Nothing is sold and nothing is used to train models. The privacy policy has the details.
Other things we make
- dev.log keeps a record of what you did, for reviews and promotions.
- devChat is a simple team chat for small teams.
Both are small on purpose, like devBoard.
